About This Idea

Cream wardrobe shutters with fluted accents sit on either side of a dressing window. A walnut-toned overhead box and a built-in desk below the glass tie the whole wall together.

Why It Works

Splitting storage on both sides of the window keeps natural light in the room. The built-in desk turns the glass wall into a dressing or work spot, so no extra furniture is needed.

A bedroom with a window in the middle of the wall can feel awkward to furnish. This design uses the window as the centrepiece, placing cream wardrobe shutters with fluted detailing on both sides and a walnut-toned overhead box that runs across the top to link them.

Below the glass, a built-in desk gives a dressing or study spot with plenty of daylight. Warm walnut tones against the cream doors keep the room bright and balanced, while the full-height storage means clothes, bedding and bags stay out of sight.
